Welcome to Our Puppy Blog!

Welcome to our blog! I am a small hobby breeder of Schnoodle puppies. My Schnoodles are a cross of the White Schnauzer with a Red Poodle. These dogs do not shed, are great for allergy sufferers, are friendly and easily trained.

We have 4 breeding females and sell our puppies face to face as required by APHIS rules for hobby breeders.

Our breeding dogs are from purebred Akc lines and the Schnoodle puppies are registered with ICA (the registry for Designer breed dogs.)

They will be vet checked, have their first set of shots, and they have been using a Ugodog Potty tray from 4 to 8 weeks. But this is just the beginning! Read through our posts to see the special care and attention we give our litter. You will enjoy watching our Growing Puppies!

We sell our puppies through our Waiting list. To reserve your spot on the Waiting List requires a $250 deposit. If you have any questions please email me at GrowingPuppies@gmail.com

Retiring Dixie

I don't wish to squelch the joy of our new litter....But I want to announce my decision to retire Dixie from puppy breeding.   I am sad to announce this, as I know many people would have loved one of her puppies next year.   But I feel that this is the best thing for Dixie's health.

This recent pregnancy was more difficult for Dixie than past pregnancies.  From the very beginning Dixie seemed much more tired and uncomfortable. The last several days before delivery were also more difficult than I had seen in the past.  And although Dixie produced an awesome litter and the delivery was perfect, I want to minimize the risk for potential birth difficulties that come with age.  I am sure everyone will understand this.

At this point Dixie will continue to be loved and cherished as our pet and companion.  Dixie actually belongs to my daughter, who is moving away from home this year.  There is a potential that she will take Dixie with her at some point when her housing situation is a stable one.  But there is no plan for that in the immediate future...and we love having her!

As far as future litters are concerned, I will have a litter with Coco next year.   Coco is proving to be an amazing little dog!   She is super sweet and loving, smart and beautiful.    She is a really nice size.  Sturdy enough for the younger children to play with, but small enough to be easily portable and a lap dog.  My whole family is simply delighted with her introduction to our family.

Over the next several weeks, I will compile a Waiting list for Coco's 2014 litter.  If anyone who is on Dixie's waiting list for next year, would like to be on Coco's list, I will be happy to move you there.  But I also understand if you decide to look for a larger Schnoodle, as Coco's puppies will not likely be larger than 12 lbs.

  1. Hi Mary,

How are Dixie and the puppies doing? The pictures you posted are so cute of the brothers snuggled up? Will you post individual pictures of the pups?

    1. Hi Karen! Dixie and the pups are doing great! I weigh them every day to be sure they are getting enough to eat....and I check on them constantly to make sure no one is stuck under a blanket or not cuddled up with the others.

At this point, I am waiting for the right moment to take photos again. It is tricky because Dixie is sooo protective at this time. She looks to be relaxing today...but she gets anxious when we take a puppy. So we have to be careful about disturbing the nest too much. But I will indeed get photos soon. I know everyone will enjoy more pics!
