Time with Mama....5 week puppies.

The puppies are eating 3 meals a day now.   Dixie is still nursing the litter...but she spends less and less time at it.  The puppies teeth are growing, and their paws are scratching.   But Dixie is a good sport about it!   I think she still likes to spend time with her puppies.









My hubby used to assume that a dogs smile was a mere relaxation of the facial muscles ....but Dixie has convinced him that she smiles from inner happiness.

Dante the puppy is trying to grab Dixie's ear....Dixie thinks it is as funny as we do!
