Welcome to Our Puppy Blog!

Welcome to our blog! I am a small hobby breeder of Schnoodle puppies. My Schnoodles are a cross of the White Schnauzer with a Red Poodle. These dogs do not shed, are great for allergy sufferers, are friendly and easily trained.

We have 4 breeding females and sell our puppies face to face as required by APHIS rules for hobby breeders.

Our breeding dogs are from purebred Akc lines and the Schnoodle puppies are registered with ICA (the registry for Designer breed dogs.)

They will be vet checked, have their first set of shots, and they have been using a Ugodog Potty tray from 4 to 8 weeks. But this is just the beginning! Read through our posts to see the special care and attention we give our litter. You will enjoy watching our Growing Puppies!

We sell our puppies through our Waiting list. To reserve your spot on the Waiting List requires a $250 deposit. If you have any questions please email me at GrowingPuppies@gmail.com

Coco Chanel at 6 mths of age
We currently own four  white female miniature Schnauzers.  They are in the Small miniature and the regular Miniature Size.

1. Coco Chanel
Toy Schnauzer:   Height 11 inches at shoulders   Weight 11 lbs

Coco is a Small Schnauzer and will produce small and toy sized Schnoodles. She stands 11 inches tall at the shoulders and weighs 12 lbs.   Her fur is bright white, thick and soft like a bunny.  This superior coat quality is called a Mega Coat.  Coco will produce amazing puppies.  Her disposition is super friendly to everyone she meets.  She will roll over on her back for a belly rub when she sees you!

Coco at 6 mths old
Coco Chanel at 9 weeks was only  3 lbs.2 oz!

2. Zoey
Weight 16 lbs
Height 14 inches at shoulder
low maintenance Coat -  Soft and Wavy

Zoey is an average sized miniature Schnauzer.   Her puppies will be 14 - 20 lbs as adults.  Zoey is spunky and has a clown-like personality.  She likes to talk to us in little "half barks".  She is super smart and easy to train.  Her puppies would be well suited for therapy dogs.

3. Crystal

 Height 13 inches

Coat type -  Megacoat - thick and soft

Crystal is will produce puppies in the 13-15 lb range.   She has a super thick megacoat and her face looks like a teddy bear.   It is a small face very similar to my Coco.   Like Coco she loves people so much, she will just flop over on her back for a belly rub, when she sees you.   She is the most docile of all my dogs.  Like the other girls she is super smart and trains very quickly.

4. Winnie

Weight 18 lbs   Height 14 inches

Coat type -  Super thick and curly

About Ricky

Red Poodle
Height 12 inches   Weight 14 lbs

Ricky is the newest stud Poodle that we have added to our breeding line.  He is a good size for both our Toy Schnauzer and our Miniature Schnauzer.   Ricky is an AKC large Toy Red Poodle from a 30 year breeder producing quality Champion breeding lines.    Ricky is sweet, loving, smart and has a wonderful all round temperament.  He will sire gorgeous Red Schnoodle puppies.

Ricky has solid Red breeding lines and when bred with white throws apricots and occasional dark red puppies.   He has been bred for beauty, health and temperament.

We always work with quality breeders to provide the Red Poodle Studs for our litters.  Red Poodles with solid red bloodlines are very difficult to find.   We go to much effort to achieve the Apricot color that we desire.

I only choose AKC registered poodles to be the stud because it helps ensure better quality puppies.  The AKC registry is the most comprehensive registry available.  It requires regular inspections of breeders. It also has tighter controls on the registration of dogs  to track the bloodlines of the dog.  Breeders who are knowledgeable of their bloodlines are better able to ensure their puppies come from healthy genetics.

About the Genetics of the White Color:

. I have had a few questions about whether White is a defect in the Schnauzer.  The white gene does not carry any health defects.  The white color in Schnauzers goes back to very early Schnauzer breeding lines.   Although the white colored Schnauzer is not allowed in the AKC show ring, AKC does register White Schnauzers and recognize them as pure bred.  White Schnauzers have always been allowed to show in the UKC dog shows in Europe.

The white color is not albino.  Research has indicated that white and red come from the same gene but whites have a fading gene that hides the red color.  I have seen some tinge of red color on young Schnauzer puppies that has grown out with age. Since the large Schnauzer was bred down by crossing it with the Poodle and the Affenpincher in order to get the Miniature size, it is not surprising that the recessive white gene that is found in the poodles, would also have been present in the early breeding lines or the Miniature Schnauzer.

When the White Schnauzer is bred to the Red Poodle the color produced will be shades of red....from creme to dark red.  The red color gene is present in all the puppies.  But the depth of red is determined by how much the fading gene is present.  I have had reds that lighten with age and cremes that have darkened with age.  It is an interesting color phenomena....but the shades of apricot are always beautiful!
